Do not eat junk foods, spices, chocolate, fried foods, nuts, especially cashew or caffeine products. The next is: do not use nicotine or alcohol

Spices

Hot spices irritate the urinary bladder prostatic and urethra, thereby creating an inflammation that may cause difficult urination. In essence hot chilies are particularly detrimental. Any food that contains enormous spices should be considered as one of the foods to avoid with enlarged prostate.

The essential oils responsible for coffee’s aroma, also present in decaffeinated coffee irritates the bladder and prostatic urethra.

Foods that are lacking in antioxidants carotenoid should not be part of diet plan.

If you need other sources of protein, choose healthful fats such as olive oil, fish, poultry, beans and eggs are healthier sources of protein.

As for dairy foods, consuming them in large amounts may increase your risk of getting or developing prostate cancer. Also, taking or consuming whole milk may increase the risk of progression.

Therefore, it is important to limit direct consumption. As it is, aim to eat less of the following foods:

• Whole milk
• Full fat butter
• Full fat yogurt
• Full fat cheeses
• Full fat ice cream

Instead, try to substitute the above mentioned foods to avoid with enlarged prostate. Consume the following foods:

• Flax milk
• Flax milk
• Coconut milk
• Cashew milk
• Soy milk

Saturated fats

 Studies have it that saturated fat has been linked to heart disease although, its association with prostate cancer is still somewhat tentative.

However, new studies have found a link between the intake of saturated fats and risk for advanced prostate cancer.

While more evidences are required to confirm this funding, it is important to reduce one’s intake of saturated fats which may benefit their prostate and the overall health because it creates more room for fibre nutrient dense plants.

 In order to reduce saturated fats, reduce the intake of the following food

• Dairy product
• Salad dressings
• Processed food
• Baked foods

Activities to avoid

Apart from foods to avoid with enlarged prostate, there are some activities that are needed to be avoided. However, this article is only for foods to avoid with enlarged prostate but it is important to get to know about these activities in order to remedy the condition and also avert future crisis.

Sexual activity

You should avoid every sexual activity as much as possible is the best way to care for your prostate in the other years.

Avoid riding bicycles, motorcycles, horses. This is because they may injure the perineum. This may result to congestion of prostate

Do not sit for hours on padded seats in cold places like trains buses etc. This is because it avoids healing blood from flowing in and out of your prostate.

Avoid deep form chairs: If possible sit on a hard chair because it will help reduce compression which especially occurs when sitting in deep from chairs.

There are some medical drugs that irritate the prostate such as pilocarpine.

To increase urine flow, pumpkin seeds have been used for centuries to achieve this. The seeds contain some substances which also help prevent prostate enlargement they contain zinc which is recommended for avoiding enlargement.

Eat a nourishing diet including vitamins minerals supplementations especially zinc.

Lastly, here’s a formula for treating the prostate. Mix equal amounts of cornsilk, parsley, kelp and pumpkin seeds.
