While I was growing up and up until today, the leaf extract has been used to counter diarrhea. I read somewhere, where they stated that the leaf extract may not seem to reduce or shorten the duration of diarrhea but might help reduce how frequent stomach pain takes place.
I want to tell you outright that it does stop it. I grew up in a village and we have used this oral therapy countless times. Today, nursing mothers still make use of it.
