It can be applied as massages with the use of rosemary alcohol or its essence in form of fomentations or compresses.

Rosemary Herb Preparation and Use

For Internal use

  1. Make an infusion or decoction with about 30 – 40 grams of rosemary flower clusters or leaves in 1 liter of water. Drink to (2) or three (3) cups every day.
  2. Rosemary Essence: The only dose recommended for consumption is 2 – 4 drops three (3) times on a daily.

External Use

  1. For Bathing and Cleansing: This can be obtained with an infusion or decoction which must have been concentrated and made with about 70 – 100 grams per 1 liter of water.
  2. Allowing steeping for about 25 minutes and then strain; application of the decoction can be made directly on the affected area that may have been inflamed. Alternatively, you can have the infusion or decoction poured in the water of the bathtub and experience and invigorating bath.
  3. Massage: With rosemary herb alcohol, apply in form of massage directly on the aching region using a cotton cloth.
  4. Hot Compresses and Fomentation. For hot compresses or fomentation which may be soaked into the infusion (concentrated), where about 15 – 20 drops of the rosemary herb essence per liter have been added.        

How to prepare Rosemary Alcohol

To prepare, get rosemary a handful of green rosemary leaves and mash them in a bowl and after having them mashed, put them in a hermatic container or bottle with about 100 – 150 ml of ethyl alcohol.

Allow steeping for about three days and then strain. The method of application is mentioned above.
